For my ‘what gets up your nose’ picture I
am going to take pictures of traffic.
What I am going to do is take lots of pictures of traffic, then I am
going to choose the best picture, I am going to edit it and use that
picture. It gets up my nose when there
is loads of traffic when I am in a rush to be somewhere and the lights take
ages to change and the traffic is never ending! That’s why I will be taking
pictures of traffic because it really gets up my nose. For these images i will be using a nikon l310 camera and i MIGHT use my phone camera which is HD on a samsung galaxy s4 which is the best phone up to date and has the best camera quality.

The responsibilities of being a fashion designer
Creating
sketches of design ideas is how a lot of fashion designers begin the creation
of their garments. It is at this stage a fashion designer puts their visions
into a more tangible format. Experimenting with color combinations and
complementary garments and accessories first takes place at this stage. Then,
the fashion designer needs to find the right materials to bring her sketches to
life. Sewing samples, test garments and eventually the final piece are all part
of a fashion designer's duties.
A fashion designer who is more established
in the industry is likely to have staff assisting with his duties. This can
mean the duty of a fashion designer extends to supervising staff whose role is
to sew garments or make patterns. Managing staff means a fashion designer's
duties are divided between creating his line and managing people. A fashion
designer works hard to create a brand that consumers can recognize. For this
reason, marketing the brand or label is just as important as creating it. Some
designers may choose to market themselves while others may employ the services
of a marketing or advertising agency.

Responsibilities of Being a Fashion Designer | eHow http://www.ehow.com/info_8335945_duties-responsibilities-being-fashion-designer.html#ixzz2U7f9jADD
Generally, fashion designers evaluate and anticipate industry trends, define themes for apparel collections, including the selection of fabrics and accessories, compose conceptual sketches for clothing items, use specialized computer programs to create the patterns and construction plans that will guide production of each apparel item, and assist in marketing their designs to apparel retailers and the ultimate consumers.
Their salary
Salaries also vary widely from designer to designer depending on level of education, experience and skills.According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the lowest 10 percent of full-time fashion design salaries, which includes the salaries of starting designers, averaged less than $32,500 annually as of May 2010, while the upper 10 percent earned more than $130,890 per year, and the median salary was $64,530 per year.

Fmp poster.
Here is a poster I made using photoshop. This is a poster advertising my final major project and showing that it will be on during the summer show at Plymouth college of art 2013. I really like this poster I made and the reason for that is because it is bright and colourful and looks very eye catching. It also has some sneaky pictures that have actually been used in my final major project giving a couple of examples of what the slideshow contains!
Here are some poster examples. I will be creating my own poster to publicise my final major project!
I like these posters because they are each different and each advertising different
things. They advertise form being safe and some sort of film/play that is being
advertised in another and getting your voice back in another. These posters are
pretty cool. I like the cross in a safe place one the most because it's about peoples safety!

Artists statement example!
I spent my elementary school years in rural Ohio, in a big pile of animal parts. My best friend’s dad had a VCR with only three VHS tapes, one of which was The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It was my favorite, and not just because the fictional events took place on the day I was born. There’s a scene in it where one of the nubile victims stumbles into a room strewn with bones—mostly animal—at once terrifying and rustic in the yellow Texas sun. Not to be outdone, my friend and I discovered a boneyard ourselves while roaming a nearby farm, harvesting a few cow skulls that we cleaned with bleach. There was also this fur dealer who lived in a hovel, just past the creek. In our only encounter, I watched this man enthusiastically carve out the heart of a fox and hand it to me. (I had asked for the organ to use in a third-grade science project.) But even that experience didn’t prepare me to find a severed blue eye staring back at me from the mailbox. Lowering the door of the box, I found the milky, apple-sized sphere suspended in a jar of formaldehyde. Turns out this horse eyeball was a gift from our veterinarian, who had already noticed my peculiar predilection. Pressing my memory for other seminal experiences involving animal entrails, I come up empty. But I do remember my friend telling me that his dad had a fourth videotape. Adult cartoons.
Above is an artist statement example by someone called Alfred Steiner but posted by Sarah Schmerler. I am going to write a statement in third person about myself.
