beads.
In college we had all different types of beads. They're all different shapes and sizes. What we had to do was create some work where we put a few beads down, taken a picture, and putting more beads down etc.. E.g, if we created a firework it would be the inside done with beads, then the middle bit, maybe a different colour and finally the outside. We take pictures bit by bit as we go alone so that when we work on Premier software, the pictures look like a little movie. This is called 'stop motion'. I found it very fun and it was my favourite thing to do:).

Nobody Beats The drum.
Critique on the You tube video 'Nobody Beats The Drum'.
In college today we got shown a video clip on you tube. I thought the clip was fantastic! Here's my critique.
The people that made the video are called 'Nobody beats the drum'.
The video had lots of different sized cubes and blocks moving to the speed of the music that was playing. The colours in the video clip were really bright and very eye catching. It got me in a chilled out mood where my concentration was set into the clip.
The soundtrack is called Grindin'. I thought the editing was absolutely great. You can tell that the video must have took a long time to create. It has definitely had effort put into it! I still think that it would be best to see 'Nobody beats the drum' live. I think it would be excellent.
The technique of the video if brilliant. It is unique but I like it. There's a lot of fast movement and i like the way it has all been put together and played. It is very interesting to me. The movement in the video clip was very quick. It's very enjoyable.

Portraits.
In college today.
Above is a portrait from the artist Lucian Freud. The class went to go and find some portraits from any artist. We took pictures of the portraits and then we drew them in different sized circles on a long piece of wallpaper. We used a sharpened end of a paint brush and we dipped that in some indian ink. For my portraits I chose the artists Lucian Freud and James Tissot. Their art are very interesting to me and I enjoyed drawing their art. Below is a portrait from the artist James Tissot.

ID CARD.
Today.
In college we done some research on some artist and the artist i chose was Edvard Munch. His paintings are very famous. My favourite on of his, is 'The scream' painting. I also found some interesting stories about him. The scream painting was done because Edvard was walking down the road with two friends and then all of a sudden the sky turned as red as blood and he heard a scream of nature. He was born December 12th 1863 in Norway, Luton. Son of army med corps doctor Christian Munch. Edvard has worked with Christian Krohg, Frits Thaulow identified with a group called Christiania-Boheme. Edvard worked three weeks in Paris and the rest of the summer in Borne and returned to Oslo to begin three of his major works. Munch's most famous creation is The scream. He done modern paintings with pastels. He was a world wide inspiration. I chose this artist because I am very interested in his style of art. My favourite has to be the scream.
