Script for
The Envelope
INT – Area with a Chair – Day.
Person X sits; looking at a watch impatiently they wait
nervously. All of a sudden someone BURSTS into the scene with an envelope in
their hand
The envelope is handed over and the contents are never
revealed.
Person X then walks across the area in deep thought, stops
suddenly and cries with sadness.
They exit the room and walks intensely down the corridor.
Person X stops for thought, reaches into their pocket and
realises the envelope is not there, they search their clothes frantically for
the envelope exclaiming by whispering;
Person X: The
envelope, where is it?
Person X reappears in the original space as in scene 1 and
goes back to where they were originally sat to look for the envelope, but it is
not there, only a note left behind which says:
“Your secret is safe with me... FOR NOW!
